The Montessori Centre has emerged as champion of the 2023 District One Reading Competition. The contest, which was sponsored by Massy Stores St. Lucia sought to foster an admiration for reading amongst students. Organizers also presented the event as a means to promote what should be an enjoyable activity amongst youth and help create a love for reading that goes beyond the classroom.
This competition aligns with the Ministry of Education’s annual drive to promote literacy during the month of May.
