St. Lucian sprint queen Julien Alfred, will once again represent Fair Helen in a final at the World Championships in Budapest. The athlete finished first in Heat 2 on Thursday August 24th, to advance to the Finals of the Women’s 200 meters. Racing in Lane 6, she crossed the line in 22.17 seconds. The sprinter will hope that this performance will be sign of even bigger things to come, as she strives to bring home Gold for St. Lucia at Friday’s finals. Spectators can expect to see Alfred contend for the championship at 3:40 p.m. local time.
