One man is dead after an alleged attempted robbery turned fatal on the evening of Thursday August 3rd. According to reports the deceased was trying to raid a minimart in Corinth, when his victim, retaliated. The would-be robber then collapsed on the main road, where he remained unconscious. The incident forced the closure of the Corinth Highway. It is alleged that the shooter was a licensed firearm holder.
