Officers from the Choiseul Police Station are currently investigating a bold break-in that occurred at Massy Stores, over the weekend. The incident took place in the early hours of Monday, September 11, causing shock in the community and prompting an active police investigation.
The attackers apparently entered the store violently by shooting at the security booth and overpowering the on-duty security guard during the early hours of Monday. After this initial assault, they forcefully drove a vehicle through the store’s entrance to gain access to the inside.
Once inside, the alleged culprits reportedly plundered the premises, taking various items such as alcohol and cigarettes. They also reportedly took the store’s ATM. Police found some grocery items inside the intercepted vehicle, while the machine was discovered at a different location.
