Bank of St. Lucia is warning customers of a potential phishing scam, which has been brought to its attention in recent days. These scams, the bank notes in a statement issued on Monday, are intend to lure persons via telephone, email or text, into providing valuable information such as bank account and credit & debit card numbers, in order to commit fraud.
The statement adds that by the bank, “under no circumstances” will the BOSL send a link requesting customers’ personal information.
BOSL further assures that it are working assiduously to get to the bottom of this situation.
