Last night, a mysterious bluish-green light in the evening sky left many locals bewildered. Numerous onlookers questioned whether this unusual sight was connected to a satellite or even some extraterrestrial phenomenon. However, in reality, as per reports, what people witnessed was a comet that had not graced Earth’s atmosphere for more than four centuries. Earthsky.com highlighted that Comet Nishimura, which several individuals managed to capture on camera, made its closest approach to Earth on September 12th.

Those fortunate enough to witness this celestial spectacle were indeed lucky, as Comet Nishimura won’t make another appearance in our vicinity for a staggering 435 years.
