The controversial statements made by veteran political figure Peter Josie, have riled up Former Prime Minister Kenny Anthony. Josie, who had made the remarks at a recent United Workers Party press conference, had drawn criticism from detractors after saying…
“Every time I hear a young person from Vieux-Fort kill another, I wish somebody, if not me, could mobilize them so that they don’t kill each other, but I would tell them where the shooting should be.”
Anthony believes that the statements made by Josie, were directed at in him particular. “When I heard the statements, I shuddered.” Anthony said. “Most people knew, that the statement was directed at all these Labour Party politicians, but one man, Kenny Anthony.”
Further condemning the UWP affiliate’s stance, Dr. Anthony stated that not only was Josie wrong for his remarks, but that he should also be charged for what he said. However, the MP for Vieux Fort South does not believe any charges will be leveled.
“The truth of the matter is, that Peter Josie should be charged for those utterances. You don’t need no more evidence than the evidence on this video. But as usual, they will tell you that is vintage politics” Anthony added.
