The Saint Lucia National Tennis Centre will play host to thrilling Junior Tennis action from August 5th to the 10th. With several participants from countries across the region and Central America, a youth tournament will be held at the venue and is expected to showcase some of the best young athletes. Two age brackets will be featured at the competition in the form of Under 12 and Under 14 divisions.
This year, corporate giant Sagicor will be the title sponsor of the tournament. According to Head of Sales for the insurance company, Sherlon Leon, Sagicor is absolutely thrilled contribute to the development of youth sports through this cause.
“The tournament clearly supports and reinforces our commitment to the development of the Caribbean region particularly in our corporate social responsibility pillars of youth development and sport. These two areas are ones which we hold near and dear to our hearts as we recognize that the future of our region lies in our young people – they are our greatest resource.” Leon said.
The public is invited to come out and support the young phenoms as they seek to represent Team St. Lucia on the regional stage.
