In a rare appearance at Monday’s pre-cabinet press briefing, Honorable Wayne Girad, the MP for Anse la Raye-Canaries, addressed widespread concerns about his absence from media engagements. Since his election to public office in 2021, the government minister has had very little engagement with media personnel, prompting some observers to question what he was doing behind the scenes. The Minister was adamant that he will strive to make his presence more felt in public forums in 2024 and beyond.
