The launch of the St. Lucia Jazz and Arts festival on Friday evening promises to be an exciting scene. Headline performer, Kes the Band is pumped to be a part of what is expected to be a historic evening. In a pre-performance interview, the Trinidadian Soca icon and band leader reveled in the opportunity to be back in St. Lucia and to perform alongside other Caribbean superstars.

” Its great to kick it off” the artist said. ” This is the first since the lockdown scene and for us to be a part of it and almost bless it, its an honor.”

Jazz 2023 is slated to take place from May 5 – 14th.
