Saint Lucian-born NBA center Christopher Boucher is on a mission to give back to the country of his birth. Consequently, he sought to make a positive impact on the lives of students at Monchy R.C Primary School. The gesture aimed to provide them with a better start than he had. Among the items given were school supplies, including back packs.

For Boucher, this initiative is deeply meaningful. His mother, who is still a resident of Monchy, attended the same institution as a child and inspired the athlete to make the contribution to the school. Boucher emphasizes the importance of such acts, ensuring that students receive a strong foundation for their lives.

“Its really important.” the player said. “Its something that I wanted to do for a long timeā€¦I wanna give back, I want to make sure the kids have a vision and the material to get to that point” he added.

Boucher and his team hope that this act of goodwill will spark a ripple effect, inspiring future generations of young people.
