According to reports, the incident resulted in the death of a man and gunshot injuries to a woman in her fifties. The shooting was reported around 9:30 pm at Westhall Group, Vieux-Fort, where the male victim succumbed to multiple torso wounds. Fortunately, the injured woman, who sustained leg injuries, received prompt medical attention and is now in stable condition. This incident marks the eighth homicide of the year in Saint Lucia, underscoring a worrisome increase in violent crime.
