Students of the three Seventh-day Adventist primary schools on island, are being to an Open Day of activities by their sister school, the St. Lucia S.D.A. Academy on May 23. The event was conceived with intention of showcasing to the young ones what a possible future at the school could look like for them.
The event was a whole school affair. Attendees were given opportunities to visit different labs, communicate with secondary school teachers and learn what it means to be pupil at the institution from students.
According to school principal, Vidal Philip, in addition to helping the young ones dream, the program was a strategic effort to dispel any misconceptions the students may have had about the school prior to coming to Open Day activities. Mr. Philip also added that it is the goal of the school to continue to appeal to students’ academic and spiritual needs.
