Prime Minister, Hon. Philip J. Pierre and Minister for Infrastructure Hon. Stephenson King, were amongst those on hand to welcome His Excellency the Minister of Tourism for Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Al-Khateeb on Wednesday, May 24. The Saudi minister came to the island to advance the conversation concerning a possible developmental partnership between St. Lucia and the Arab state.
PM Pierre says he very pleased with the talks and that the Saudis see St. Lucia as a premiere investment opportunity.
“The Saudis are very keen on Saint Lucia. They see Saint Lucia as a very attractive destination” Pierre said. “We also informed them of our need to complete the work at St. Jude Hospital.
