As of 8:00 pm June 20, 2023 Saint Lucia has been placed under a Tropical Storm Watch. The NEMO is advising households to activate your family emergency plans in the event it may become necessary. Tropical Storm Bret is expected to pass through the Windward islands by Thursday and possibly continue into Friday. Residents in flood prone areas are urged to take extreme precautions due to the potential for flash flooding and land slippage.
