The passage of Tropical Storm Bret overnight accounted for damaged infrastructure in some parts of the island. According to preliminary reports, while there is significant damage, no reports of injuries or loss of life has been made. Damages include downed utility lines, destruction of banana crops and loss of rooves. An estimated loss value has not yet been determined. St. Lucians are reminded to keep safe in the aftermath and heed official advisories.
